Rahul Gandhi’s comments on division of Pakistan, popularly known as liberation of Bangaldesh in 1971 is good brainwork by Congress. His comments or claims on this issue have knowingly or un-knowingly dragged others to respond, which turned good for Congress. There is no wrong in such claims by Rahul Gandhi, as he is a grand son of Indira Gandhi, who masterminded the division of Pakistan. He has every right to make claims on division of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s negative comments against India and Bangaldesh’s positive supportive comments are good for the Congress Party. BJP guys were forcefully invited to make comments on this issue, which will be a boomerang to them. Because their comments on this issue fully resembles with Pakistan’s statements against Rahul. This would be blessing in disguise for the Congress.
History and issues relating to Pakistan is always a hot potato for BJP, because the ghosts on the issue of praising Jinnah by Advani, few years ago will haunt them. Advani will have to see his subordinates, once again defying his statements.
After all, why people are caring on the word-by word of Rahul Gandhi alone? What kind of venoms had been spitted by Advani himself during his ‘Rath Yatra’, purposefully? That means, other parties fearing the presence of Rahul in UP.
In earlier day s Rahul Gandhi shied away from active politics. This time his party is shying on giving assignments on Rahul. Till date they have not announced who is Congress party’s CM, if they win. Congress should announce its’ Chief Minister candidate. It is better for them to announce Rahul as the Chief Minister’s post. Congress may not win, but they have nothing loose in Uttar Pradesh, where they are in corner for the past 17 years.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s remarks on Rahul indicate that they are thinking on Rahul as the Chief Minister candidate. But it is too late, as already second stage of elections had over. Any way Rahul is the best choice as Chief Minister for Congress party; as well as good for the Uttar Pradesh, which is ruined by the power broking local parties like BSP and SP.
